Data that stays on your Mac
Your supervision configuration is stored locally in a config.json file, and license material is kept in the macOS Keychain. Toolspring does not include cloud sync or remote monitoring.
Data handled by Polar
Checkout and the customer portal are processed by Polar. Toolspring does not receive your payment details. Polar's handling of that data is governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Support data
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send (for example, your email address and any details you include).
Activation
Activation identifies your installation with a label you choose, not a hardware serial number. Raw license keys, payment details, and hardware serials are never logged.
Open for legal review
Full details — including retention, your rights, contact, and any regional disclosures — will be completed during legal review before any public sale. Nothing here is final.
